NEB vs ISU

Last weekend I got to use my birthday present from scott and go to the Nebraska/Iowa State football game in Lincoln with my family. It was a lot of fun, even though the game itself was awful.



Highlights from the game were:
1. Claire putting her tatoo on upside-down...

2. Tailgating before the game, with lots of Costco food, even though there was that annoying guy who kept bothering us. He knows talent though.... and apparently Cyclone fans can thank him for getting the new ISU coach.

5. We got to walk by the field to our seats. Claire was pretty pumped...and yes, that is a runza in her hands at 10 in the morning.

(soon after this picture was taken we realized that by walking on the field and not taking a ramp up to our seats, we would have to walk up 182 stairs to our seats. Literally. I almost died. And that's not counting the metal scaffolding ones that we climbed off of the field.)

This is the Huskers coming out at the beginning of the game. They walked out holding hands, it was pretty awesome. My camera ran out of space so I didn't get much of it, but you get the idea, the crowd went crazy.
