Last Friday we had a showing in the morning, so we went to Hawkeye Park here in Ankeny and met our friends the Kennedys there. We took bread for the ducks, and although we tried to avoid them, the geese followed us and took it all. I was afraid they would try to peck Molly or run at her if she didn't respect their goose space....... and they did..... and she laughed. They would seriously hiss in her face and she thought it was the funniest thing ever. She tried to hug the ducks before the geese chased them away. She has no concept of needing to be careful around them, to her they were supposed to be as cuddly as kittens. 
Joel got tired of feeding the ducks and decided to roll down the hill. Bonus for me, it got him nice and sleepy for nap time!
Funny story.... I told the kids we were going to the park to feed the ducks and they were very excited. We pulled in to the parking lot and Joel said "Welcome To The Duck Park." very seriously, like he was reading a sign..... but there was no duck sign to be found. He was just being goofy :)
