You can tell he's a male.....

Baby update:
I went in for my weekly appointment on Wednesday, and we had an ultrasound to see how he had moved. Well the little stinker is breech, and by 37 weeks (which i was on Friday) they want him to be head down. Sooooo.... that means that we are going to go in to the hospital this Tuesday to try a external cephalic version. Where the doctor tries to move him around from the outside of my stomach. Dr. T "assured" me that this will hurt, like an elephant sitting on my stomach, but at anytime, if i feel too much discomfort she will stop, no problem. There is only a 50/50 chance that he will stay head down, but Dr. T said we should avoid surgery (c-section) if we can. After reading around on the internet, they make it seem like the mother could go into labor during the external version, but Dr. T and the secretary that scheduled my version told me that they had never had that happen. That was a sigh of relief!! If he flips back to his breech position, we will schedule a c-section for around the 24th. If he stays head down, then we wait for Baby Carson to want to come out and go through with a natural birth. There are pros and cons to both a c-section and a natural birth, so i'm not leaning one way or another. We feel a sense of peace about all of this, because after all, he has to come out some way!! We've had a few hilarious comments from coworkers that you can tell the baby is a male, because he's turning around the wrong way and won't figure out the directions!!
Scott and I so appreciate all of our friends and familys thoughts, prayers, help, and advice these past few weeks! Seems crazy that our little man will be here very very soon, but we are so excited! We did more "nesting" activities this weekend after my Ankeny baby shower last night. I'll be posting pictures of that later this weekend! It was SO awesome!!
