We had a busy, but great, weekend! Friday night we grilled out with (big) Joel, and Justin & Rachael. We ate a lot and stayed up late (11pm is the new late for us!) and played board games..... I particularly enjoyed it because Scott actually didn't win (gasp!). Saturday was an awesome day outside, so Scott and (little) Joel enjoyed the weather and worked in the yard a bit. I had tons and tons of little things to do, and lots of errands to run, so I ran around the whole day and got lots of things crossed off my list. After church on Sunday, I went to a bridal shower in Story City for my friend Danelle. Last night we had a "baby welcoming" celebration with our church connection group at our house. The men played bean bags outside with Barkley, and the women chatted it up inside with the babies. Joel got to see his 5 day old friend Tyler, and hang out with his old pal Lance.
