Our final Christmas was my family's side, back in western Iowa on New Year's Day. We had our usual gift exchange, which included a beautiful collage of Uncle Don pictures this year, ate tons of spaghetti, and watched the kiddos run around. My cousin Julie's son Beckham is one month older than Joel, so it was fun watching them together. My other cousin Lauren is pregnant, due in June, so next year there will be two more babies to add to the fun!
I made delicious mice for the get together....made out of oreo truffles....not rodents.
