No, not Molly! Joel! who's legs you can see in the background on the big potty :) She just likes the little potty that he hates to sit on.
We went all out and just put him straight in underwear on Monday. He had been waking up from naps dry, going on the potty, and even woke up dry once in the morning, so we decided to give it a shot...
Day 1, Monday: One thumb up... about five accidents and five peepees in the potty
Day 2, Tuesday: Two thumbs down.... peepee everywhere and on everything
Day 3, Today: Two thumbs up! Went in the potty all morning, no accidents till 1pm. This evening we've had our ups and downs, but he's done pretty well.
If you have any advice or tips, please please please comment and let me know! He's doing pretty good so far, so we're going to stay at it. But I'm not going to push him too hard, we can always go back to diapers and try again later. The thought "Why aren't we all in diapers? They are so much more convenient??" has actually crossed my mind a few times in the past few days....

I borrowed a book from a friend recently that's about toddlerhood and it included a little section about potty training. Here's the link to a video from the authors - http://vimeo.com/7643151. I think we'll use this when the time comes!
We might use more verbal praise than treats though. That's alot of sugar! :)
LIZ! I am right there with you! Just wrote a post on it too...but with pre school in the fall...we can not turn back! SOS! :D
Throw a cheerio in the toilet and tell him to hit it! Not only will it be fun, but his aim will become deadly!
